Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate must be able to teach Electronics Engineering Technology in an ABET accredited program that is applied in nature. The candidate will assist in ABET accreditation and will further develop the program of study.
Perform other appropriate duties as may be assigned. Adhere to and comply with all relevant federal state and local laws; if assigned a State purchasing card abide by all purchasing rules and provisions and reports/balances account as required or directed; adhere to all institutional policies and guidelines including the provisions of the employee’s relevant employee handbook; adhere to and comply with relevant provisions of the WV State Ethics Act; adhere to all safety rules and provisions; report any personal accidents/injuries or accidents/injuries of assigned staff to HR by end of work day or work shift; and complete all required performance evaluations timely completely and accurately.
Minimum Required Education
Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering or Engineering Technology or closely related field.
Required Licenses and/or Certifications
Engineering faculty are required to have a PE license or terminal degree prior to year 6 of their tenure and promotion review period.
