Counselor Education Tenure Track Faculty Position

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 8,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Counselor Education and Student Affairs at Kutztown University invites applications for a full-time (3/3) tenure track faculty position to begin Fall 2023. The successful candidate will teach core courses aligned with CACREP standards with a focus on assessment, research, addictions, as well as internships and practicum. The successful candidate will be expected to provide quality advisement to graduate students and may be the clinical coordinator for the addictions program. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: an earned doctorate in Counselor Education (CACREP preferred); evidence of scholarly activity; teaching experience at the graduate level; licensed or license eligible (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania; clinical experience serving clients with addiction; successful completion of an interview. Preferred: CAADC credential.
