Assistant Professor of Social Work

The Department of Social Work at Radford University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor Role. Teach 3 courses per semester at a bachelor's and master's degree level in social work, including practice courses, field courses, and research courses. In addition to in-person courses on Radford's campus, there may be an on-line component to some instruction. Serve as academic advisor. Maintain a research agenda. Provide service to department and university. Position requires PhD in Social Work or closely related field, as well as a Master's in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program. Will consider candidates with a Master's in SW from a CSWE-accredited program whose PhD completion will be within 9 months of hire.
