POSITION: ARTICULATION AND TRANSFER COORDINATOR

DEPARTMENT: ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT – REGISTRAR

DIVISION: STUDENT AFFAIRS AND ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT

Responsibilities: The Articulation and Transfer Coordinator serves as the liaison with partner colleges, universities, and high schools to establish new academic agreements and cultivate existing partnerships.

In coordination with the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management and the Registrar, the Articulation and Transfer Coordinator plans and manages the enrollment and student services components of articulation agreements, and dual enrollment pathways. The Articulation and Transfer Coordinator collaborates with Academic Affairs in executing articulation agreements and major maps.

Utilizing research and effective practices, The Articulation and Transfer Coordinator is responsible for student transfer planning, and establishing dual enrollment pathways, including a timeline to ensure students are ready to successfully transfer or to fully engage in dual enrollment. The Coordinator, designs communication and outreach needed to implement transfer articulation or dual enrollment program; in addition to developing resources for effective social transition and preparation for matriculation at JCSU.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Education, Social Work, Communication Arts, Psychology, Non-Profit Leadership or related fields. Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs or College Student Personnel Services preferred. Possess strong analytical and communication skills, sound professional judgment, initiative and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals including students, faculty and staff. Some knowledge of student development theory is highly preferred. Must be creative, organized and able to multitask, with strong attention to detail and the management of his/her/the university’s time.
