Job Description

Nature of Work
  • Provides general/routine administrative and office support that includes a broad range of duties.
  • Understands how tasks/activities relate to others on the team and how the team integrates with other related, similar teams.
  • Organizes and completes structured assignments according to priorities.
  • Recognizes and solves typical problems that occur in own work area without supervisory approval.
  • Evaluates and selects solutions from established options/procedures.
  • Impacts own team through the quality of the services or information provided.
  • Communicates through the regular exchange of information.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and customer service to students, alumni, faculty, staff, administrators and community constituents.
  • Maintain and process transactions related to the student record such as grade modifications, grade changes, academic renewals, transcripts, student program plan changes, and various enrollment transactions including those through the registrar application, and student waitlists.
  • Responsible for conducting the roster verification process to comply with Federal Financial Aid regulations.
  • Conduct degree verifications to potential employers regarding job opportunities for graduates.
  • Process special program applications (Senior Express, ACP, Visiting, Succeed).
  • Data Entry (test scores, name and address changes).
  • Assist other team members with office and administrative task as needed.
  • Support the office by ordering supplies, and troubleshooting and/or reporting office equipment issues as appropriate.
  • Assist constituents across various communication mediums (phone, email, in-person, zoom, chat, etc.).
  • Willingness to take on any and all projects with enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Shift

9am -6pm Monday, Tuesday: 8am – 5pm Wednesday - Friday

Salary

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Pay Range: $14.50 Hourly
Grade: GGS-006
University Title: Student Records Assistant

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possess a vibrant personality and be able to handle difficult situation with tact
  • Previous office experience with focus on service.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions a plus
