ES Application Developer I,2 or 3 - (STA011649)



Analyzes, develops and modifies enterprise application programs and ad-hoc programs, under moderate supervision.
  1. Codes, tests, debugs, modifies and troubleshoots enterprise application systems and ad-hoc programs in accordance with standards.
  2. Analyzes complex enterprise application processes and systems and their underlying data structures; identifies and resolves problems.
  3. Installs, tests and troubleshoots interfaces and integration supporting vendor applications.
  4. Assists users with understanding, testing and using enterprise applications and programs. Defines, conducts and monitors system test procedures.
  5. Documents data structures, run streams, applications, programs and other objects according to generally accepted practices.
  6. Uses non-core technologies to design, code, test, debug, modify and troubleshoot enterprise applications.
  7. Learns new technologies and techniques using enterprise development tools.
  8. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Bachelors and No experience up to 5 years experience

Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. No experience is required up to 5 years of experience.

ES Application Developer 1- Bachelors and no experience

ES Application Developer 2- Bachelors and 3 years of experience

ES Application Developer 3- Bachelors and 5 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience and/or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical disciplines.
  • Experience and/or formal education in one or more of the following: Oracle DB, SQL-Server, UNIX, Windows Servers, imaging, and workflow technologies.
  • Excellent PeopleTools development skills including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, Component Interfaces, Data Mover, SQR, and Query.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining integration routines among PeopleSoft applications as well as between PeopleSoft and non-PeopleSoft applications using Integration Broker and messages.
  • Mobile development experience and familiarity with Hyperion and Tableau are a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills for designing, creating, and testing of software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong in programming fundamentals and have a good understanding of database concepts.
  • Strong experience in SQL.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Passion for technology, curiosity, and willingness to constantly learn new skills, work with new tools and discover new and innovative approaches to solving complex technical challenges.
