Job Title
Communication Coordinator – NSFP
Department
New Student Programming
Essential Functions
The Coordinator of Communications within the office of New Student and Family Programs will be primarily responsible for development, administration, and implementation of six online orientation courses. This position will conduct thorough assessments of all online orientation experiences. Additional duties include – but are not limited to – writing digital correspondence, social media posts, email and text communications; copy editing various content; carrying out email and text messaging within Salesforce CRM and related platforms; updating and maintaining webpage content; verify accuracy of site content; and maintain NSFP and UGA webpages. Attention to detail in the performance of these duties is crucial. This position will also support the overall goals of the Division of Institutional Effectiveness and Student Success with other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8-5; some weekends & evenings.

Required Qualifications
Required Education : Bachelor’s degree completed
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree completed (communications, graphic design, creative writing fields preferred); Master Degree
Preferred Experience: professional experience with copy editing, content creation, graphic design, or similar field; 2 years of professional experience working in a higher education setting (student support services, enrollment management, or student affairs functions);
