Essential Functions
The Communications Coordinator will manage the communication, organization and logistics for the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Success, Career Development and Academic Advising team at University of Nebraska at Omaha ( UNO ). This position will serve as the frontline staff member for the Office of ACDC . This position will work in support of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Success within the Division of Institutional Effectiveness and Student Success ( IESS ). Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Success, this position will serve as the point person for office and space management, serving as the first point of contact for the office. This position will be trained in multiple UNO systems (ie. Handshake, MavLink, SAP, and MavTrack) to support career and advising operations. Finally, this position will lead communication efforts on behalf of the office and will be in charge of staying updated on website and communication tool trainings on behalf of the unit.
Work Schedule
M-F/8:00-5:00. Occasional evening or weekend hours.

Required Education: High School degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Education : Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Experience: 2 year of professional or student worker experience working in a higher education setting (student support services, enrollment management, or student affairs functions)
Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience
