The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences, at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) seeks a full -time BC/BE A cademic S pecialist in Gener al OB /GYN. The suc c essful applican t will be an Academic Specialist in full scope General Obstetrics and Gynecology who shows strong commitment to clinical care, teaching, and research. The Division of Gener al OB /GYN has a str ong urban c ommunity -based clinical progr am within the c on text o f an academic environment. The candidate will be challenged to provide quality care in on- and off-campus locations, further research in gener al OB /GYN, help tr ain r esiden ts, and educa te our studen ts. Candida tes with additional in t erest and e xpertise in ar eas of Minimally-Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Family Planning, Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology, Global Health, Menopausal Medicine, or Vulvar/Vaginal Disease are strongly encouraged to apply. Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate’s experience. Qualifications :

Qualifications-Internal Requirements:

· Board-eligible/board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, with the ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the state of Maryland. The expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate's experience.

· Two years of relevant experience preferred.
