Job Summary
Document workshops, professional development/learning or training
related to providing services to at-risk students (low-income and first-
generation students) which includes increasing retention and graduation
rates, as well as academic achievement. Additional training preferred
includes academic advising, counseling, and financial assistance; grant
management; program management; progress monitoring; and/or
educational intervention programs.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Strong soft skills desired such as leadership, communication, interpersonal,
teamwork, problem-solving, work ethic, and flexibility/adaptability; ability
to creatively motivate, empower and recognize students; visual, auditory
and ambulatory ability; excellent verbal and written communications skills;
conflict management skills; strong organizational skills; empathetic;
positive relationship builder; ability to track, report and analyze data; assist
with input of student and staff data for reporting requirements; and
proficient in Microsoft Office, Email and other databases.
Essential Job Functions
The Project Direct will manage recruitment and delivery of program
services for the program as well as create and sustain a diverse and
inclusive work and learning environment.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in education, student development, counseling,
learning disabilities or other related field.
Three to five years of experience:

- managing grants, including budgeting and program management.
