Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of Strategy Planning and Operations, the IT Training Lead is responsible for the creation and delivery of IT training directed at employees and students at the college, ensuring consistent understanding of goals and priorities, systems, processes, and practices.

Major Areas of Responsibility
  • Identify, develop and deliver comprehensive training aimed at improving the College's technology literacy through in-person and pre-recorded sessions
  • Produce and record video content for asynchronous learning, including screen capture and voiceover instruction.
  • Track training progress, certifications, and other credentials using online tools and oversee employee attendance and performance.
  • Develop and deploy a new employee technology orientation program.
  • Implement training KPIs and conduct analysis of metrics, present outcomes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the College and/or industry.
  • Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes or College developments that training could improve.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience using standard desktop tools for video capture, voice recording, and basic video editing skills.
  • Background in developing and delivery training to different audiences
  • Strong communication, team building, and collaboration skills required
  • Strong knowledge of the Information Technology landscape
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of training processes
  • Higher education experience is preferred.

Additional Information:

The College is committed to providing competitive market pay for its employees. The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $85,000 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The College also offers a competitive benefits package for full-time staff, including:
