  • Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in event or program planning and digital marketing.
  • Experience working effectively in a team environment and collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident per federal regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of higher education admission requirements and university enrollment.
  • Experience living, working, or studying in a different country.
  • Knowledge of immigration policies particularly F-1/J-1 regulations and the international student lifecycle.
  • Experience using ISSM, SEVIS, or similar student information system.
  • Fluency in a language other than English.
Job Description

Assists in outreach efforts to prospective international students and guide students with recruitment, admissions, immigration, and per-arrival processes. Assists with initiatives to attract new international students through digital marketing, recruitment agencies, institutional partners, and enhancing university brand recognition in global markets. Coordinates event programming for new and continuing international students. Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident per federal regulations.

Job Duties
  • Serves as a Designated School Official ( DSO ) and assist with SEVIS management and institutional compliance with federal regulations.
  • Creates Form I-20s for initial, transfer, change of status, and change of level students.
  • Assists DSOs with SEVIS processes.
  • Coordinates print and digital media communications and marketing materials for students, scholars, recruiting agencies, and international partners.
  • Assist with new international student orientations, pre-arrival webinars, check-ins, and other related programing events.
  • Manages the ISSS social media accounts and responsible for ISSS digital media efforts.
  • Assist with ISSS workshops and other presentations to external stakeholders and campus departments.
  • Assist with ISSS events and programming.
  • Provide support to the ISSS Front Desk and PDSO /DSOs as needed.
  • Position may require in-state, out-of-state, or international travel.
  • Position may require working evenings or weekends several times per year.
  • Perform other duties as required.
