This hands-on role is responsible leading and developing reports in the Oracle Cloud by working closely with business partners to understand and translate business objectives into functional reports. Primary Job Responsibilities
- Design best-practice reporting solutions including ad-hoc
reporting, scheduled reporting, and self-service use
- Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through
data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting
components from multiple data sources using various software tools,
including spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages,
and data visualization tools.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards that track key
metrics.
- Develop technical and functional specifications based on
business requirements and analysis of relevant workflows
- Identify issues in data quality that would impact reporting
(i.e. duplicate records, missing data, etc.)
- Coordinates with technical and non-technical resources, both
external and internal, to standardize data feed delivery format and
schedules
- Implement data quality rules to ensure that all data sources
are consistent and accurate
- Requires Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology-related
field or equivalent years of experience.
- 3-5 years data reporting experience
- Experience with Peoplesoft or Oracle Cloud preferred
- Ability to lead meetings to elicit requirements from business
and technology leaders and stakeholders
- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including
queries, reports, and presentations
- Must be creative and capable of creating visually appealing
documentation
- Experience in data cleaning, data merging, data verification
for accuracy and consistency
