Summary:
VCU's School of Pharmacy, Office of Experiential Education (OEE) provides students with real-life active participation and in-depth exposure in a variety of pharmacy practice settings. Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE) of 300 hours are required of students in their first three (3) years of pharmacy school (P1, P2, and P3). Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) of 1,600 hours are required of students in their 4th year of pharmacy school (P4).
Office of Experiential Education (OEE) invites you to apply to our OEE Administrative Coordinator position. The OEE Administrative Coordinator position will provide administrative coordination and support to the Office of Experiential Education to maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency, and customer service. The typical duties may include, but not limited too the following:
- Manage office operations: administrative support, travel, meetings, schedules, maintenance and supplies.
- Manage office communications: correspondence, concerns, and queries
- Support experiential external affairs in regards to affiliated sites, preceptors, and affiliation agreements
- Manage experiential IT platform processes and communications.
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse student environment
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Proficiency in being detailed oriented
- Ability to problem solve and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated competence in information technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years comparable administrative experience
- Bachelor’s degree with equivalent combination training and/or experience
- Five years comparable administrative experience in higher education
