Assistant Professor of Social Work

The successful candidate will teach 12 credit hours per academic semester, across the BSW curriculum and various formats including face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid courses. In addition, they will be expected to provide both academic and professional advisement to BSW students, participate in university, community, and professional service, develop and implement a research agenda, and demonstrate a commitment to the BSW Program’s mission and values.

An MSW degree from a CSWE accredited program and a minimum of two years post-master’s social work practice experience in social services settings. An LMSW or LCSW, and be eligible for licensing in Arkansas. Experience working with diverse populations. A minimum of two years college teaching experience, preferably in a BSW or MSW program, including face to face, online and hybrid formats. Preference will be given to those candidates who have a deep understanding of generalist practice baccalaureate social work education and current CSWE accreditation standards (2022 EPAS).
