The highly-ranked University of California, Davis, seeks a licensed psychologist (Psy.D., Ph.D.) or a licensed behavioral health counselor (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to serve as a Student Health and Counseling Services Community Counselor. This position works with Services for International Students and Scholars (SISS) and the Middle Eastern North African and South Asian Student Resources (MENASA). The successful candidate will conduct assessments, respond to student needs, make referrals to campus resources, and perform outreach to students, faculty, and staff. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the new counselor will also provide intake evaluation, treatment planning, crisis intervention, case management, and individual and group counseling and psychotherapy, with referrals to others as needed. This position works closely with the CS Director of Multicultural Services, staff of partner units, and other Community Advising Network (CAN) Community Counselors.
