Job Summary

The IT Support Analyst will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to end users on various issues and problems relating to hardware, software and peripherals. This position will also be responsible for responding to, documenting and resolving service tickets in a timely manner according to SLA. The IT Support Analyst, Team Lead must have excellent problem-solving skills in order to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations. The Support Analyst, Team Lead will also perform root cause analysis, develop documentation for typical problems and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention. This position will support multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and videoconferencing equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer solutions for modern management of endpoints and applications; support platform software upgrades, workstation patching/compliance, and application delivery
  • Engage in the continuous improvement of endpoint administration including automation, monitoring, patching, backup/recovery, etc. by applying industry standards and best practices
  • Document, implement, and adapt procedures, standards, and guidelines consistent with changing needs and strategic objectives
  • Participate and lead a variety of projects requiring technical expertise and project management skills
  • Utilize and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and tools
  • Diagnose and resolve unique, nonrecurring problems associated with application software and operating systems; determine the source of problems and classify their level, priority, and nature
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, and other computer and telecommunications equipment
  • Participate in hardware and software reviews and recommend purchases; Maintain inventory of installed software, manage software licensing and create policies and procedures for upgrades
  • Act as a technical leader in a consultative role for customers to understand specific application requests and provide appropriate solutions/recommendations
  • Communicate service outages internally and externally, escalate tickets appropriately, and may provide after-hours and weekend support on a rotational basis
  • Perform system administration functions in a corporate environment, with Configuration Manager, JAMF, and Active Directory Administration experience
  • Collaborate with other support teams to ensure response times within service level agreements are reached
  • Provide support and act in a consultative role to other team members who provide support for end-points, hardware, software, peripherals, and various services across the Windows and Apple operating systems including, but not limited to: installation, configuration, troubleshooting, consultation, and training
  • Functions as the key contact for IT requests from a broad range of users for technical support. Provides consultation and support; communicates effectively to convey complex technical information


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Required Experience
  • Five (5) or more years of related work experience


Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • A+; Net+, certification

Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Experience
  • Seven (7) years of experience
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Three (3) years of experience in a higher education environment
  • Experience with Enterprise and/or Line-Of-Business applications


Proposed Salary

$45,200 - $55,000

This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
