The Department of General Business in the John Chambers College of Business & Economics, West Virginia University, located in Morgantown, WV, is seeking qualified applicants for a teaching assistant professor and executive-in-residence position in the department of General Business, beginning in Fall 2023. The position will be a part-time (0.72 FTE) non-tenure track 9-month appointment.

The successful candidate will be appointed based on outstanding professional attainments and recognition in his or her specific field. WVU’s executive in residence provides shares their expertise, strengthen relationship between the College and the business community, and to help transition students into the business world. Executives in Residence teach graduate and undergraduate classes and liaise with alumni. Other responsibilities include service-related functions to the department, college, and university.

A master's degree in a business discipline or a closely related discipline or bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or a closely related discipline and a minimum of 15 years of increasing responsibility and acknowledged success in a specific industry or a demonstrated history of substantive entrepreneurial endeavors and evidence of ability to teach effectively.
