Job Description Summary
As a member of the BI/ES team and under the direction of the director, the Business Systems Analyst I provides support for the Enrollment Management division through data management and execution of recruitment and yield activities related to e-communications and the student portal.

Essential Duties

Support the Senior Business Systems Analysts by performing the following responsibilities:
  • Maintain Bentley's CRM system through the generation and monitoring of a large volume of electronic communications (campaigns), including the following activities:
  • Create, test, and maintain scripts for e-mail campaigns (including user acceptance testing)
  • Assist with the creation of e-mail templates, overall testing, and risk analysis
  • Monitor e-mailbounce/open/click-throughrates, metrics, success/failed deliveries
  • Ensure integrity of data and populations
  • Monitor and report on performance of e-communications
  • Document campaign design, implementation and results
  • Create and modify reports for both operational and strategic/management use tool
  • Update project management software tasks that are part of the communication planning function
  • Assist with cleaning and loading student search information
  • Assist with updating and maintaining the student portal to ensure accurate availability of information to prospective and new students.
  • Test HTML userability
  • Communicating priorities and being organized and efficient


  • Other Duties
  • Test data loads and ensure quality for various data loads into Banner.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining the student portal to ensure accurate availability of information to prospective and new students.
  • Provide training on systems and software applications for staff in the EM division.


  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year or related work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of social media and e-mail marketing preferred
  • Knowledge of CRM tools preferred

  • Typical office setting with extensive sitting and computer work
  • Ability to travel around campus for work related events and meetings
