Position Function

Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Director of Teacher Pathway Programs will map each of the eight high school’s existing dual credit, career and technical education ( CTE ), and Advanced Placement (AP) courses on the Ball State curriculum and tailor each program to the needs of each school. The Director will help the school explore funding sources and will serve as the Ball State contact person for the school. The Director will develop and oversee mentoring programs in the schools. The Director will meet weekly with the co-PIs to ensure the grant objectives are being met. This position is grant funded and the individual hired will have an At Will assignment.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant field from an accredited institution.

Minimum Experience

· Three years high school teaching experience
· Two years facilitating partnerships within and/or between different organizations

Minimum Other

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous projects with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to form collaborative relationships.

Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Authorization to work in the US

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Education

Doctorate in Education or a relevant field from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with a range of educational stakeholders within the P-12 continuum, university, and community.

Preferred Other

Experience with Career & Technical Education
