Assistant Director of International Admissions

Position Description

Rider University invites applications for an Assistant Director of International Admissions who will be responsible for obtaining necessary knowledge of all aspects of Rider University and acting as a credible spokesperson for the university in a professional and friendly manner. The Assistant Director will counsel prospective students, review applications, make admissions decisions and manage a specific recruitment territory (all international applicants). The successful candidate will provide guidance and process all necessary immigration documents for students to enroll in the university and will have an understanding of the cultural differences of students enrolling at Rider from abroad.

Position Requirements

The candidate will have demonstrated exemplary skills/experience:
  • International recruitment and working with an international student population
  • SEVIS experience highly desirable
  • Building and maintaining internal and external relationships
  • Providing Quality Customer Service
  • Using Technology – Slate, Banner, Windows Suite, Google Suite, etc.
  • Attention to detail
  • Time/project management
  • Excellent public speaking skills
  • Experience in higher education
  • Traveling internationally is required
  • Must be able to meet all current international traveling requirements
