Job Description:

The Program Analyst is responsible for evaluating the various programs sponsored by the Utah Center for Rural Health.

This part-time position will look at assessment measures required by each grant and contract that provides funding for various programs, as well as those programs sponsored internally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Monitor all grants and contract requirements.

2. Create and monitor programmatic budgets for each project.

3. Create individualized project reports as required by funders or internal controls.

4. Assess sustainability of projects.

5. Assist with long-term tracking of project participants.

6. Prepare and deliver necessary reports to UCRH Partner organizations.

7. Prepare Center's Annual Report.

8. Update social media with pertinent measures and outcomes.

9. Assist with grant preparation, evaluation and other reporting as needed.

10. Develop new revenue sources and forms of organizational support (e.g., prepare, negotiate, and/or administer grants and contracts).

11. Travel to rural Utah communities as necessary to gather information and present reports.

Proposed Education and Experience Requirements:

1. Experience with budgeting, health care services, administration, grantsmanship, fund-raising, and public peaking.

2. Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills: Must be knowledgeable of state and federal health care laws and regulations.

3. Be media and politically savvy.

4. Must have excellent quantitative skills including accounting software.

5. Must have computer skills.
