Job Description Summary
Responsible for day to day management of complex projects conducted with collaborators both internal and external to university. Take leadership role in developing study protocols, writing grants, managing the detailed operations of projects, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, cultivating close relationships with community partner organizations, and drafting/editing manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journal. Develop the team's research strategy, lead projects and co-author papers.
Job Description
The Healthcare Transformation Institute is seeking a highly-motivated Project Manager A/B (PM-A/B) with strong research and administrative skills to provide management for multiple grant-funded projects. The PM-A/B will work with the PI and study team to plan and implement 2 new research studies with a focus on machine learning, oncology care, and Medicare data. This position will be responsible for oversight of all grant activities for these research studies for our growing lab including management of day-to-day research activities, IRB and regulatory requirements and the training and supervision of research staff.
The PM-A/B will be responsible for managing and tracking multiple study budgets as well as managing the timely submission of grant reporting to the sponsors. The PM-A/B will meet regularly with study leadership (internal and external) to provide study updates but will function independently in carrying out most responsibilities. The role will include frequent contact with external collaborators to manage the execution of agreements and subcontracts and will assist with presenting work at national meetings.
PM-B: The PM-B will mentor/train less experienced research staff in the completion of their duties as required. The PM-B will be expected to manage a more significant portfolio of projects (e.g., increased complexity and number). They will help prepare and present project updates to high-level stakeholders. Lastly, they will be expected to supervise a larger number of direct reports.

Qualifications
Project Manager A: Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required.
Project Manager B: A Master's degree and 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
