The Department of Psychology and Special Education is seeking faculty for three Tenure Track position in Psychology with responsibilities in teaching, research, and service to the university and community. These positions will begin Fall 2023. Area of focus for each position are:
- Clinical Psychology (Job # R-056894): responsibilities will include teaching Psychopathology and Diagnosis and Theory and Technique of Applied Psychology. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to training master-level Clinical Psychology students in evidence-based assessment and psychotherapy. Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed or license-eligible in the State of Texas. School Psychology (Job # R-056778): responsibilities will include teaching courses in support of our NASP-approved Specialist in School Psychology MS program. Successful applicants must have a doctorate in School Psychology or closely related field. Degrees from an APA-accredited and/or NASP-approved program are required. Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed or license-eligible. General Psychology (Job # R-058218): Area of interest/research is open, although preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching courses related to Experimental Psychology, including Statistics and Research Methods and Physiological Psychology at the undergraduate and graduate level. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to training doctoral-level experimental Psychology students.
