Computing Services is searching for a Technical Lead for the Application Management Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and ambitious work environment. You will contribute to the department by coordinating the daily operations for the Application Management Team and will provide supervision, coaching and mentoring to team members. As a liaison between business partners and computing services groups, you’ll facilitate service-related issues, configurations, or escalations. The position will focus on both leadership of the team as well as being a technical expert providing sophisticated support for applications.

- Coordinates the daily operations and provides supervision for the Application Management Team with a great level of independence and autonomy including assessing applications to identify service levels and resource needs
- Educates existing and prospective business partners on Application Management service offerings and related infrastructure services
- Collaborates with business partners and leadership to develop service roadmaps
- Provides technical mentoring and identifies appropriate professional development opportunities for staff
- Leads business partner meetings where domain expertise is required.
- Develops and validates support process for new applications; outlines steps required for application onboarding; determines feasibility and compatibility with existing systems and capabilities.
- Provides advanced technical support for applications including debugging issues, working with vendors on bug analysis and collaborating with developer/infrastructure teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years meaningful work experience
- A combination of education and meaningful experience from which comparable knowledge is proven may be considered.
