Position Summary
The Department of Occupational Therapy in the College of Health Professions is recruiting an adjunct faculty member to assist with the management and supervision of students in OCCT 717: Fieldwork I in Psychosocial Occupational Therapy during the Spring 2023 semester. The primary responsibility of this position would be to provide onsite FW I supervision. Additional responsibilities to be negotiated could include grading and providing feedback on students’ session plans. This position would be an excellent opportunity for a practitioner who desires more experience and interaction with students.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or an OTD degree
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an occupational therapist in Virginia
- Practice and/or teaching experience in occupational therapy evaluation and intervention in mental health
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
- Occupational therapy Doctorate (OTD) or PhD
Salary Range: $2,000-$3,500
