Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Sam Houston State University is strongly committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace that empowers all employees to reach their full potential. The department seeks an applicant with interests and expertise in clinical psychology to contribute to its graduate and undergraduate programs. Duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses as needed; developing a productive research program and mentoring undergraduate and Masters students; and serving on the Masters Psychology Programs Committee. Candidates must be committed to a student-centered approach and have a passion for teaching and mentoring a diverse student population.
Educational Requirements for the Position
Candidates should have a Doctoral degree from an APA -accredited Psychology program or who are ABD will be considered, but the Doctoral degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.
Experience Required for the Position
Candidates should show evidence of research.
Other Requirements for the Position
Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the State of Texas.
