Position Summary:
The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2023. We are accepting applications in all areas of software engineering, as well as in cybersecurity.

Monmouth University's Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering is an integral part of the newly renovated School of Science. It offers undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Software Engineering (two undergraduate programs are ABET-accredited), and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, and Data Science. The department has developed strong ties with the local industry. The candidates will have opportunities to engage in interdisciplinary research collaborations across the university and with companies in the vibrant Jersey Shore technology corridor. The software engineering program was one of the first in the country and continues to foster cutting edge research and produce successful graduates. The department houses a new state-of-the-art cybersecurity lab that supports both teaching and research activities.

Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields, including, but not limited to Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics or ABD status with degree completion expected by the date of employment
Evidence of scholarship, with a focus in cybersecurity or any areas of software engineering.Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations.

Preferred Qualifications:
Industrial experience in software development
