Azusa Pacific University (APU) invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the School of Behavioral and Applied Sciences.

Founded in 1899, Azusa Pacific is one of the largest Christian universities on the West Coast and a flagship institution within the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. APU is a vibrant and diverse community committed to academic excellence, evidenced by its Carnegie classification as an R2 Doctoral University - High Research Activity.

Today's world needs compassionate individuals dedicated to serving others through the helping professions. The School of Behavioral and Applied Sciences equips students to meet this need and lead in their fields, from athletic training and physical therapy to social work, psychology, and more.

With a total enrollment of 1610, the dean is responsible for the leadership, planning, direction, and management of the full range of undergraduate and graduate, clinical and non-clinical programs offered by the School. The Dean will collaboratively and creatively advance the scholarship, research, integration of faith and learning for a dynamic learning community with strong enrollment. APU seeks a leader who understands the breadth and complexity of behavioral and applied sciences, accreditation and licensure, diverse student populations, and current trends with a successful history of leading in a complex environment.
