Pay Range: $62,000 or higher depending on education and experience

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Advancement Solutions, the Advancement Project Manager will need to communicate with staff and end users, make decisions and monitor the progress of Advancement data related projects to keep them on schedule and completed per end user requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 2 years of experience leading and working in business intelligence environment OR equivalent work experience totaling 6 years.
  • Experience in modern reporting and analytics tools (Examples: R, Power-Pivot, PowerBI, PowerQuery,).



  • 1 year experience managing projects and/or working with project management tools.

  • 1 year experience in data analysis using equivalent tools such as power query, power pivot, power BI or equivalent.

  • 1 year experience in project documentation and document management.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with business transformation and change management.



  • Ability to be strategic and translate concepts into understandable and actionable items.

  • Strong diagnostic and analytic skills.

  • Familiarity with University of Idaho policies, procedures, organizational structure.

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
