Job Description:
The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level (tenure track or non-tenure, clinical track) with focus on in Pulmonary Pathology.
Primary responsibilities will involve service and clinical teaching in surgical pathology with a focus on pulmonary pathology. The candidate should also have a strong track record of publication and clinical research activity. The University of Florida/Shands Health Care affiliated institutions present a rich diversity of inpatient and outpatient clinical material. The successful applicant will contribute to medical student, resident and fellowship training in accredited programs within Pathology including pulmonary pathology. Scholarly study and investigation in the applicant's area of interest is expected
Expected Salary:
Salary is Commensurate with Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must have an M.D. or D.O. degree, board certification in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP, and possess or be eligible for a Florida Medical license. Fellowship training or experience in pulmonary pathology is highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional expertise or experience in Bone & Soft Tissue or Head & Neck pathology would be ideal, but not required.
