Nursing Program Director - Open rank faculty

The John R and Kathy R Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences at North Carolina A&T State University is recruiting for a Director of Nursing. This is a 12-month, tenure track faculty position with academic rank commensurate with education, experience, and expertise. The Director provides administrative leadership that promotes growth of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree programs. The responsibilities for this position include visionary and strategic leadership for advancing student success in the BSN program; general oversight for strategic planning related to student success, including recruitment and retention strategies supporting faculty development activities related to student success; and data collection and analysis related to the student experience and placement of graduates in alignment with ACEN accreditation standards and NC Board of Nursing guidelines. Additional responsibilities include curriculum development, development and maintenance of clinical partnerships, program assessment, assessment of student learning, faculty recruitment and evaluations, and fiscal management. NC A&T is a research-intensive doctoral university and development of scholarly products is expected of all tenured and tenure-track faculty.
