Position: An ideal candidate for this position needs a high level of rapport with students of all ages, the ability to lead and partner with multiple teams, a strong understanding of technology, implementation, and systems, and the ability to foster student success and retention. This role regularly travels between North Platte, McCook and Community Campuses advising students area-wide. Responsibilities include:
  • Advising students on program, transfer, and graduation requirements.
  • Assisting with educational and career goal setting.
  • Updating and managing the Advising Module, Degree Plans, Advising Manual, and related web content.
  • Supervising Advising team and providing leadership and team development of the South Campus Welcome Center.
  • On-boarding students of all backgrounds and programs.
  • Partnering on Advising related retention and outreach initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s preferred, a minimum of two years experience in higher education is also preferred.
