Tenure-Track, Assistant Professor – Biomedical Sciences

The Department of Biomedical Sciences (BMS) at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, located in Ames, Iowa, invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. These are full-time, 9-month positions with salary commensurate with qualifications.

The successful candidates will join a department with active research programs in pharmacology, neurobiology, infectious diseases and cell/molecular biology and establish a dynamic, extramurally funded research program within these or a complementary field pertinent to human and/or animal health. Applications from candidates with a focus in molecular parasitology are particularly encouraged for one position. The successful candidates will also teach pharmacology or related biomedical courses to professional and/or graduate students and mentor graduate students.
