Temporary, Part-time Accounting & Finance Instructors (Unsolicited)

Job Summary/Basic Function

The Department of Accounting and Finance has occasional need for temporary, part-time faculty in the field of accounting, finance and international business.

Applications are accepted on a continuous basis and materials are reviewed when a temporary, part-time instructor is needed.

In addition to teaching, there is an expectation for scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment.

Required Qualifications

-Masters degree ( MBA or MS in appropriate field) or J.D.
-Business experience.
-Certification ( CPA, CMA, CFE, etc) required for temporary, part-time faculty appointed in accounting.
- Successful interview and teaching demonstration also required.
- Three successful background checks: Act 34 (Criminal Record Check); Act 114 ( FBI Federal Criminal History-Fingerprinting); and Act 151 (Child Abuse History Clearance).

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience is preferred.
