Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for didactic and clinical instruction in the nurse anesthesia specialty within the DNP Program in the School of Nursing and Health Professions. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to scholarship and service as well as excellence in teaching.

Minimum Education Requirements:
Master of Science in Nursing required. Doctorate in Nursing preferred.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:
Current RN and APRN CRNA license. Must have attained or be eligible for licensure in Kentucky. BLS, PALS and ACLS required.

Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Previous experience or formal training in curriculum, instruction and evaluation preferred.

Note: If the successful candidate is master's prepared, the position will be filled as a non-tenure track, instructor. Successful candidate without a doctoral degree must complete doctoral degree within three (3) years of employment date. If the successful candidate holds a terminal degree appropriate for the position, the position will be filled as a tenure-track, assistant professor.
