Scope of Job:
To provide mid-level support during project implementation and post support for the functional departments on software applications assigned.
Assist with all aspects of ERP and other application project implementations, conversions, and process improvement responsibilities.

Description of Duties:
• Learns functionality of ERP application module(s) and other software applications assigned.
• Develops fluency in other ERP module(s) and applications supported by the department.
• Performs application configurations and document setup changes.
• Provides on-going production support, troubleshooting, issue resolution and user training.
• Analysis and testing of software patches, reports, forms, interfaces.
• Gathers, analyzes, defines and documents business requirements from end-users on their application needs.
• Performs data queries/extracts & Ad hoc reporting (SQL, report writer and/or reporting tools).
• Collaborates with IT on projects and tasks.
• Develops Business Requirements for reports, forms, interfaces, etc.
• Coordinates and performs configuration management.
• Coordinates with IT on the setting and maintenance of application level security, development and administration of security definitions and profiles.
• Identifies, researches, analyzes, consults and coordinates with IT and/or application/system vendors to resolve project related and/or production issues.
• Analyzes business processes and recommend process improvements via automation and/or workflow technology.
• Develops test plans and procedures with end users for implementation of added functionality, custom programs, and software upgrades and system patches.
• Researches and explores software applications functionality.
• Develops training materials, Procedures Manuals and/or maintains setup documents for applications assigned, and conducts training sessions.
• Facilitates application vendor support.
• Collaborates with other Business Analysts on projects, tasks, scheduling, patches/upgrades, etc.
• Coordinates Patch Management with IT and users.
• Identifies, researches and recommends Business Process Improvement.
• Other duties may be assigned.

General direction from the assigned supervisor.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree related to functional area assigned.

Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s degree in CIS or CS.

Licenses/Certifications:
None.

Required Experience:
Two (2) years work experience performing at least 60% of the job duties as specified in the position description, including providing ERP and other applications functional production support and ensuring end-users’ business and application needs are met with up-to-date functionality and streamlined processes. Working knowledge on Database Structures of module(s) assigned. Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Diagramming and Query Tools software. Knowledge of ERP and other software applications and systems. ERP application configuration and/or custom software designs creation knowledge. Experience with test scenarios/scripts creation and execution. Documentation Skills (Swim Diagram, Gap Analysis, Process Flow, etc.). Basic project management knowledge. Experience with problem diagnosis and troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of business process improvement.

Preferred Experience:
Familiar with Functionality of applications assigned. Working knowledge of Project Implementation Life Cycle and Database Structures. Working knowledge of production control. Experience with database query language programming. Ability to read, understand, interpret and apply instructions in ERP and application system manuals. Microsoft Projects and Visio knowledge.

Equipment:
Use of standard office equipment.

Working Conditions:
Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Usual office environment.

May be expected to work on weekends. Occasional travel is required. Ability to work effectively in team environment. Ability to exercise initiative, use good judgment, and handle confidential information responsibly. Ability to perform in a fast-paced, changing environment. Self-starter with the ability to research and dig for information. Ability to multi-task efficiently on parallel efforts. Demonstrated ability in problem solving and of analytical skills.
