Glimpse into the Job:
  • The purpose of this position is to fill a critical void on our coastal studies team by providing essential expertise. The postdoctoral associate will conduct research on climate-driven ecological changes and restoration in wetlands of coastal Texas.


How You Will Contribute:
  • Fieldwork in wetlands
  • Processing samples in the laboratory
  • Development and initiation of experiments
  • Data analyses
  • Preparation of proposals and manuscripts


What You Will Need
  • Doctoral degree in ecology and/or biogeochemistry.
  • Experience doing fieldwork in wetland ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in statistics.


What They Would Like to See
  • Experience with R programming, GIS, experimental design
  • Identification of plants
