Position Overview

The Department of Religious and Theological Studies seeks Adjunct lecturers to teach 1 or 2 sections of either Christianity in Context or World Religions (both “1000” level courses that fulfill the General Education requirement in RTS) at Merrimack College for the Spring 2023 semester.

These courses will meet in person, from the week of January 16, through the week of May 8, 2023. Classes meet twice a week on Monday and Wednesday with sections between 3:30 pm-4:45 pm and 6:00 pm-7:15 pm.

Qualifications:

A doctorate (Ph.D., Th.D. or D.Min.) in theology or closely related discipline (ABD acceptable).

Familiarity with and understanding of the Catholic tradition is helpful. College-level teaching experience preferred. Course evaluations from prior experience may be requested.
