Landmark College (LC) is a unique, fully accredited college engineered for neurodivergent students with learning differences (LD), including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and executive function challenges. LC provides an intentionally designed, resource-rich academic and student life model yet is also a traditional college overall.

The College is prioritizing national and global expansion of its LC Online platform and seeks additional leadership to help continue our success. The Director of LC Online Partnerships is charged with building new and strengthening existing LC Online partner relationships, collaborating on creation of marketing assets and advertising campaigns, and assisting broadly with expansion of LC Online program enrollments. The Director will initially focus on these LC Online offerings: High School Dual Enrollment; College START; associate degree programs; and the post-baccalaureate certificate program for professionals. The Director will report to the Senior Director of Intersession and Online Programs and will intentionally collaborate on strategies and tactics with the President and other LC senior leadership.

Our location in beautiful southeastern Vermont provides the setting for an engaged and inclusive college community with the safety of a small, rural campus. The College is minutes away from ski resorts and other outdoor activities, and within driving distance to cities such as Boston, New York, and Montreal. A position with Landmark College is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of promising but often overlooked students.  This position offers the opportunity to join the College during an exciting growth phase: a breadth of short-term/intersession, LC Online, and 2- and 4-year academic programs are offered; student retention has increased; the Bay Area Success Center micro-campus has started on the West Coast; and residential and online program enrollment outcomes have been consistent.

The ideal candidate has experience in a business development or sales role in higher education and/or online programs; holds a bachelor’s degree (graduate degree desirable); has excellent communication and collaboration skills; and is willing to travel as needed. The Director may be based on site in Putney, Vermont, or may be based elsewhere with a remote work arrangement.

LC offers competitive wages and an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental and vision plans; a generous vacation and time off package; a TIAA retirement plan that includes 6% College contribution; tuition reimbursement; and more.

Interested individuals should provide a cover letter, resume or CV, and the names of three work references. Electronic submissions are preferred. Please email your application to humanresources@landmark.edu. Applications may also be mailed to Director of Human Resources, Landmark College, 19 River Road South, Putney, Vermont 05346. Review of applications will begin immediately. No phone calls please.

Diversifying the student body, faculty, and administration is congruent with our mission. We value diverse populations and cultures including, but not limited to, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, national origin, neurodiversity, race, and religion. Landmark College is an EO/AA/Vet/Disability employer.

Landmark College

While many colleges offer special programs for students with learning disabilities (LD) and other learning challenges, Landmark College is one of the only accredited colleges in the United States designed exclusively for students who learn differently, including students with learning disabilities (such as dyslexia), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and autism.

Landmark College’s mission is to transform the way students learn, educators teach, and the public thinks about education. We provide highly accessible approaches to learning that empower individuals who learn differently to exceed their aspirations and to achieve their greatest potential. Through the Landmark College Institute for Research and Training, the College aims to extend its mission across the nation and throughout the world.

Students at Landmark College get far more personal, directed assistance than at traditional colleges that often offer a grab bag of accommodations for students with learning disabilities, ADHD, or autism. Students at Landmark College receive individualized attention from classroom instructors—in courses tailored to meet their educational needs. This is evidenced by our exceptionally low student/faculty ratio of 6:1. Our experienced advisors meet frequently with students to review and guide their progress. In addition to advising, a wide array of other academic support is integral to a Landmark College education, including executive function coachingeducational technology support, and the services of our centers for academic support. All instructors are trained professional educators, not teaching assistants or peer tutors.

Landmark College is located in Putney, Vermont, in the southeastern part of the state. The campus is two and a half hours from Boston and four hours from New York. Southern Vermont also has a great deal to offer. Within half an hour of campus, faculty, staff and students can find amenities more often associated with an urban environment, including movie theaters, shops, restaurants, live music, art, and theater. Members of the campus community who love the outdoors will find world-class skiing, snowboarding, hiking, kayaking, and mountain biking just minutes from campus.

Our Office of Human Resources strives to ensure that we are an employer of choice, attracting and retaining uniquely talented individuals able to advance the College’s position as the college of choice for students who learn differently. We are committed to a philosophy that recognizes each person as an individual, worthy of respect, trust, dignity and fair treatment, and we apply these tenets to serve, support, and value all members of our community.
