Part-Time Faculty, Exercise and Sport Science
We are searching for an experienced Part-Time Faculty, Exercise and Sport Science at our Detroit campus location.

Essential Functions (Job Duties):
Teaching Opportunities
The mission of Wayne State University is to create and advance knowledge, prepare a diverse student body to thrive and positively impact local and global communities. The Exercise and Sport Science program is located in the Division of Kinesiology, Health and Sport Studies in the College of Education. Exercise and Sport Science professionals are encouraged to apply for part-time faculty (adjunct) teaching positions (up to 8 credit hours). Applicants are invited to submit a cover letter, resume, and a list of three professional references with their contact information.
The Exercise and Sport Science program prepares both undergraduate (B.S.) and graduate (M.S. & Ph.D.) students for careers in sports, exercise, fitness, health care, and other related areas. The program is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. The program prepares students through innovative, hands-on coursework and capstone paid and unpaid internships.
Applicants will be reviewed periodically and considered for teaching opportunities as they arise (the need for part-time faculty varies from semester to semester).

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Exercise and Sport Science, Kinesiology, or related discipline.
Minimum of three years of industry experience or three years of teaching experience in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional Exercise and Sport Science professional certifications. Evidence of expertise and effectiveness in online instruction.
