Farmer School of Business: Careers Internship Coordinator provides support and guidance to the students seeking internships and full-time employment positions and the employers seeking to hire them. As the Farmer School of Business Careers Office strives to be a model in higher education it places a strong emphasis on securing internships for all of the Farmer School students. This part-time role is expected to work approximately 20 hours per week for the spring semester. The first appointment will be for the 2022-23 spring semester and is contingent on reappointment based on performance and funding. This position reports to the Director of the Farmer School of Business Careers Office.

The Careers Internship Coordinator will perform the following tasks: Help employers post their internship and full-time positions on Handshake; coordinate with employers on-campus recruiting events; when appropriate, reach out to students to promote internship opportunities; when appropriate, reach out to employers to create awareness of recruiting events on campus they may wish to participate in; help to gather and analyze internship and full-time placement data in 12Twenty.

Required: Bachelor's degree in a field related to business, student affairs or career services and two years of professional experience or a master's degree in a field related to business, student affairs or career services. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime and indefinite basis.

Consideration may be given to candidates with professional experience in business and/or a background in student affairs or career services.
