Art Education Temporary Faculty for Spring 2023

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 8,000 students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas of Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The Department of Art Education at Kutztown University invites applications for multiple temporary part-time position(s) to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses as face-to-face and/or online in the Spring semester of 2023. In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Required: Master’s in Art Education or in a related field and three years of teaching experience in art education. Preferred: Terminal degree in Art Education or a related field (Ph.D., Ed.D. or J.D.) from an accredited institution. The applicant should demonstrate a clear understanding of contemporary and historical trends in art and art education. Successful interview and demonstration of relevant ability required.
