Position Description
The Accounting Department in the Norm Brodsky College of Business at Rider University seeks adjunct instructors for the Fall 2023 semester, which runs from September 6, 2023 – December 8, 2023, and the Spring 2024 semester, starting January 22, 2024 – May 3, 2024. ACC 450 Business Forensic Application
3 Credits (Spring 2024)
This is an in-person delivery course.
This course provides an opportunity to perform complex investigative cases and analyses, thus demonstrating mastery of the knowledge and skills required to be effective forensic professionals. The course covers how to manage and present digital and technical evidence gathered for forensic litigation cases, including the ability to be an expert witness in court.
MACC 652 Analysis of Accounting Data
(Fall 2023)
This hybrid course is taught over seven weeks, two times per week–one day in class and the other with online content.
This course uses information technology and data analysis techniques to conduct analysis of needs commonly faced by accounting professionals. The course uses cases and projects to pursue such areas of decision concern as financial statement analysis, the evaluation of audit risk, and selected additional topics.

Position Requirements
Requirements for ACC 450:
- Master’s Degree (or higher) in the area in which teaching.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel
- Must have knowledge of court proceedings and evidence gathering
- Master’s Degree (or higher) in the area in which teaching
- Demonstrated proficiency in using data analytic software similar to MySQL, Tableau, Python, and Excel in accounting and finance contexts.
- Prior teaching experience
- Industry experience
- CPA or other relevant professional certification
