Duties and Responsibilities: The IELTS Invigilator assists in the proctoring of the IELTS General Training and Academic exams, which are administered 1-2 Saturdays per month on the AUM campus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Invigilators are required to adhere to a Code of Practice established by IELTS USA and must follow all directives from the Center Administrator. Information regarding the Code of Practice will be provided to applicants once recruitment and training have been successfully completed. At a minimum, invigilators are required to: – complete tasks accurately and in sufficient detail – observe the need for confidentiality and security – respond positively to guidance and advice – act professionally at all times – communicate effectively with colleagues and candidates and treat others with respect – be aware and sensitive to cultural differences.
Minimum Qualifications: Invigilators are required to have a secondary or high school diploma or equivalent and a good working knowledge of English (written and spoken). Must be available to work a minimum of one (1) Saturday per month.
