The College seeks a Website Optimization Manager to join our growing digital marketing team. This role works closely with Marketing, IT and Application Development, the Centers of Excellence, and Academics to optimize the website experience and continuously improve key performance metrics such as organic SEO results, visitor engagement, lead volume, and enrollment conversions.

 

This strategic and tactical digital marketing leader will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing The College’s new website, which will launch in Spring 2023. This key team member will execute on a variety of website updates and develop a personalization to help generate new student enrollments and revenue and enhance brand affinity and advocacy of The College’s programs and mission to benefit society.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, create, and update web pages within Drupal CMS, make suggestions and provide insight for improvements where necessary.
  • Produce integrated visual content for the website and related channels as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with established brand guidelines and style guides.
  • Maintain the site to maximize stickiness, returning visitor traffic, and engagement. Website should always feel fresh, relevant, and authentic.
  • Collect data using Analytics tools and conduct regular content audits and competitive analysis.
  • Monitor and report on metrics such as organic traffic, conversion rate, and revenue via the web to drive insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Perform ongoing keyword research and work with internal teams and SEO partners to analyze competitor sites, implement and measure keyword strategy and optimizations.
  • Assist with web-related projects, such as authoring requirements documentation, wireframing, working with developers on implementation, and executing QA processes.
  • Understand resource capacity and manage project priorities based on marketing objectives.

  • Establish a process for managing personalization to keep content variants current.
  • Drive conversion by Identifying opportunities to optimize Conversion Rate, UX, SEO, and improve site architecture.
  • Test the performance of landing pages, special promotions, content, and forms using A/B and multivariate methodologies.
  • Maintain and edit tags in Google Tag Manager.
  • Ensure all webpages and new website projects adhere to UX best practices, including ADA compliance.

Essential Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of progressive experience in digital marketing strategy and tactical execution.
  • Drupal back-end CMS experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of digital personalization strategies, website best practices, emerging digital trends, and user experience
  • Experience with enterprise content management systems such as Drupal (preferred), WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Sitefinity, Sitecore, etc.
  • Familiarity with SEO Keyword Research tools (SEOClarity, Moz, etc.) and optimizing websites for search engines
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset; with experience in Google Analytics, HotJar, Google Optimize
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting scheduled deadlines
