The Department of Psychology at Southern Methodist University seeks a full-time, non-tenure-track Lecturer in Psychology (Position No. 0700004) to begin in August 2023. One-year contract, renewable. Normal teaching load is twelve credit hours per semester (a 4/4 load) with opportunities for summer and intersession teaching. A PhD in psychology is required at the time of appointment. We are seeking candidates with teaching experience and the expertise to teach a breadth of courses in one or more of the following areas of psychology: introductory, developmental, social, personality, cognitive, and psychopathology. The Department of Psychology is part of Dedman College of Humanities and Sciences (https://www.smu.edu/dedman) at SMU (https://www.smu.edu/). The department houses a PhD program in clinical psychology, an MS program in organizational psychology, and undergraduate programs with one of the largest number of majors at the university.
