The candidate will be expected to effectively teach a variety of Cybersecurity, IT, and CS courses, to advise and mentor students, and to engage in scholarship and professional service.

The Math & CS department is planning to develop a new major in Cyber Security, and the candidate will serve as the point-of-contact/coordinator for this intended program. The courses taught in the department cover all levels of an undergraduate program in topic areas such as programming languages (Java, C++), object-oriented programming, event-driven programming, computer architecture, software engineering, web technology & security, operating system & security, network & security, system integration, system assurance, digital logic and design, human-computer interactions, game development, artificial intelligence, and database & security. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively through spoken, written, and visual media.

Salary and academic rank are commensurately depending on directly related education and experience level.

Minimum Training and Experience Requirements:  Candidates must have earned a doctorate in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field with at least 18 credit hours at the graduate level in the above-mentioned disciplines.
