Corbin A. McNeill Chair in Engineering

The Mechanical Engineering Department at the United States Naval Academy invites applications for the Corbin A. McNeill Chair in Engineering commencing as early as Spring 2023. We are seeking someone that can facilitate connections and collaborations that advance our mission to develop engineering leaders.  An ideal candidate is someone with an outstanding reputation and technical expertise in engineering or a closely related field. The appointee will have the opportunity to mentor midshipmen, teach classes, advise independent research and support senior design projects. An advanced degree in Engineering (or a closely related field) is preferred, a Ph.D. is not required. Salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The United States Naval Academy (USNA) is a four-year undergraduate institution with a mission to prepare our students morally, mentally, and physically for commissioning as officers in the naval services. Application review will begin on January 15, 2023.
