Position Summary:
Monmouth University is currently seeking applications for The Director of Talent Management which will be responsible for managing various areas of human resources including employee recruitment, hiring and onboarding, employee performance and development, employee relations and other related activities, and will serve as a business partner to university leadership and hiring officials in these areas. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Human Resources, the Director of Talent Management will collaborate with leadership on the development, implementation and evaluation of programs and initiatives in these areas which will further the institutions goals. The ideal candidate will be able to be able to handle multiple priorities, effectively organize work, develop staff and establish and maintain good working relationships.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree
Required Skills or Software:
Must be able to utilize a variety of computer software programs in order to successfully complete assigned tasks, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Intermediate knowledge of MS Word 2016, Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel 2016
Required Years of Experience: 5
Other Requirements:
5 years experience in areas of Human Resources related to recruitment and employee relations. Thorough knowledge of federal and state laws as they relate to HR policies, practices and procedures especially in recruitment and employee relations. Able to handle multiple priorities, while working independently and effectively under heavy workloads and during peak periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree; PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred; Progressively responsible experience in designing, developing and supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover recruiting, talent development, performance management and relationship management.
